Our certified installers are extensively trained to install spray polyurethane foam in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, the National standards and appropriate installation standards and specifications.  CUFCA's extremely high level of quality assurance helps us to offer our client full assurance that they are getting the superior installed product they are paying for and that the product will perform as intended.

Urethane Foam Consultants (UFC) was established in 2012 to provide the spray foam insulation industry with the highest level of certification, inspection and quality assurance services. To accomplish this, UFC has developed and implemented a site quality assurance program (SQAP) that complies with current and emerging industry standards. Our programs have achieved ISO/IEC 17024 accreditation as a personnel certification body and ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation as an inspection body.

The organization offers programs for single family, renovations, and high density projects, with a communities program under development. An Energy Advisor does an energy model of your project and a blower door test to measure the air leakage, or energy wasted through the building envelope. Once completed the data is complied to generate a comparison of the proposed building to a reference building that is built to BC codes. The services of an Energy Advisor are used for:

  • EnerGuide for New Houses label

  • Third Party certification – Built Green Canada, LEED for Homes
